A Carson City man was arrested Tuesday by U.S. Marshals on a Utah homicide warrant.

Andrew Albert Brundle, 26, is awaiting extradition to Salt Lake City from Carson City Jail. He is being held on $100,000 bail.

Brundle and his cousin Brian Robert Drown, 32, are both charged in the beating death of their uncle on Sept. 7 in Salt Lake City.

According to court documents provided to the Nevada Appeal by the Salt Lake Tribune, Brundle and Drown confronted their uncle, Doug Brundle, 51, about signing some documents when a fight broke out.

Witnesses reported seeing both men punching and kicking Doug Brundle. He died the next day, according to the Tribune.

Carson City deputies were called Tuesday to assist U.S. Marshals, Reno Fugitive Task Force officers and members of the Department of Public Safety in stopping a vehicle containing Brundle at Curry and Park streets at 4:20 p.m.

He was arrested without incident. A 19-year-old man, an

18-year-old man and two female juveniles in the vehicle were released.

On his Myspace page, Andrew Brundle indicates he was born in Carson City but graduated from high school in Utah. He lists his hometown as Carson City. His booking sheet lists his home address in the 1600 block of East Long Street.
