Bring a friend or two and join the officers and board of trustees of the Friends of the Douglas County Library at the annual Membership Reception from 11 a.m.-noon Saturday in the main library. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded.
An election of officers will be held and the library director will give an overview of this past year at the library.
There also will be a question-and-answer time and brainstorming for the coming year. The reception is a chance to mingle and talk with the organization's officers, board members, and other library supporters.
