Lew the Rattler and Hank Monk: When they get down by the Ormsby House and begin to spin yarns, a crowd immediately gathers ... like flies about molasses, Hank on one side and Gilhooley on the other, watching to pounce on the point of the joke the instant it shows up - Hank, splutters chuckles and Gilhooley throws his head back, opens his jaw like the lid of a coffee pot, and roars like a wild ass.
