LAS VEGAS (AP) - Campaign officials for U.S. Sen. Harry Reid say President Barack Obama will campaign with the Senate majority leader during a July 8 rally in Las Vegas.
Reid's campaign on Thursday e-mailed invitations to supporters to sign up online to attend the rally at the Aria Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
Campaign officials billed the 4 p.m. rally as "An Evening With Barack Obama and Harry Reid."
Obama appeared at the same CityCenter resort complex in February during a trip used to promote health care reform and Reid's re-election.
GOP nominee Sharron Angle stands between Reid and a fifth term. Reid has not fared well in polls and has become the top target for Republicans this November.
