LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas fire officials say a man injured in a fireworks accident has died.
Four other people, two of them children, suffered injuries related to fireworks over the Fourth of July holiday.
Las Vegas fire spokesman Tim Szymanski on Monday said a man in his 20s was seriously injured Sunday night while lighting fireworks in the street. He was taken to a trauma center at a local hospital, where he later died.
Szymanski says another man and woman received minor leg burns Sunday night from backyard fireworks, and two children were slightly injured in other incidents.
There were no serious fires in the Las Vegas area related to fireworks.
