Many thanks to the artists from Carson Valley, who entered the largest number of artistic work we've had in the recent years. Only a handful were from outside Carson Valley and Carson City. And many thanks to our Carson Valley patrons, who bought more of that artwork than in recent years. We had a very receptive crowd at our Friday reception, where our scholarship winners work gathered so much favorable comment.
The CVAA really appreciates the donations to our scholarship fund and the purchase of so many artworks this year.
This was not a judged show, so we didn't award prizes by media. But our patrons voted the People's Choice Award to Nancy Bargman, for her outstanding collage.
Our CVAA Scholarship Benefit Show will be be in the CVIC Hall in November. Please keep your eyes open for this judged show in seven media, with our Sunday afternoon Raffle. The show info and details will be available in October at 775-782-8035, or nanronclark@webtv.net.
