The attorney general's office is looking for people who are willing to serve on the Nevada Committee on Domestic Violence.

The committee reviews, monitors and certifies treatment programs for abusers and meets at least quarterly. While the posts are unpaid, the state provides travel and per diem reimbursement for members attending official meetings.

The open slots on the committee are for a victim's representative and a mental health representative. But a spokesman said the committee will welcome all applications should vacancies occur in the future. Applicants should submit a resume and a letter describing their interest in the subject of domestic violence.
