A yogurt shop is slated to take over the former Cold Stone Creamery in the Topsy Lane shopping center.
Mmmmm Yogurt, 963 Topsy Lane Suite 318, is expected to open in mid-September, said Michele Fisher, the director of marketing for the fledgling business that will have another location in northwest Reno on Robb Drive.
Bill Grebitus, 55, and Chris McCabe, 49, who live in Incline Village and Reno respectively, decided to open the yogurt shop, which will feature self-serve yogurt machines, about two dozen flavor combinations and 50 toppings.
Fisher said the Topsy Lane store front will undergo improvements over the next month before it opens in September.
Chad Coons, a Realtor who represented Mmmmm Yogurt, said the storefront is 1,300 square feet.
The Coldstone that had occupied the space closed in March 2009.
