RENO (AP) - Another earthquake has rattled Pyramid Lake about 30 miles northeast of Reno.
No damage was reported from the magnitude-2.7 temblor that struck at 2:08 a.m. today.
The Nevada Seismological Laboratory says the quake was centered on the north end of the lake about 8 miles under the surface.
It was near where a cluster of three quakes struck on July 20, including a magnitude-4.2 temblor.
No damage was reported from those quakes, either.
Pyramid Lake is the terminus of the Truckee River, which flows more than 100 miles east from its source at Lake Tahoe.
