GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Nearly two months after being accused of sexual assault, Packers cornerback Brandon Underwood said he doesn't know if he will be charged with a crime.

Underwood, who participated in Green Bay's first practice of training camp Saturday, said he is doing his best to focus on football and isn't frustrated that the legal system isn't moving more quickly.

"It's a decision I made to do whatever it was, and everything ended up in that light," said Underwood, who declined to discuss details of the incident. "So I'm man enough to be able to take whatever."

Two women told investigators Underwood sexually assaulted them at a Lake Delton condo on June 5.

Police have said the women's statements contain inconsistencies, and said in a news release a few days after the incident that "money was exchanged between the alleged suspect and the alleged victims before the alleged assault."

Police questioned six other Packers players staying at the condo for a charity golf event but cleared them of any wrongdoing.

A south-central Wisconsin prosecutor hasn't announced publicly whether Underwood will face formal charges.

"The (district attorney), she has a job to do and I respect how she's handling her job," Underwood said. "It's a tough situation for me to be in, because it's still lingering over my head. But there's a lot of things ... that I can't say. There's a lot of things that I know that she has in her possession. She's trying to wrap up a lot of loose ends. It's like she didn't want to make a decision too quick. She's doing her due diligence."

Underwood said he doesn't have any idea when the situation will be resolved, but insists it won't affect his play.

"It's not tough to focus on football at all," Underwood said. "Football, I get here, I close off all outside things. In the dorms, (safety) Derrick Martin's my roommate, so at night we might play a game here or there but then we're in our playbooks. It's all about football right now."
