Get ready for the best of special events

There are many things you take for granted in a small town, but there are two events I truly appreciate. One is the closing of downtown for the annual Advocates to End Domestic Violence fundraiser, Taste of Downtown. Tickets are now available, information is below. The second event is the annual Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) fireworks show. Congratulation to Toyota/Scion car dealership owner, Dick Campagni, who contributed $5,000 to assist with funds for this annual event. I hope other businesses are inspired to help light up the skies July 4th.
