Acclaimed true crime author Gary C. King has agreed to write the as-yet untitled account of the horrific kidnapping, rape and murder of beautiful 19-year-old Santa Barbara City College coed Brianna Denison, who was on winter break visiting family and friends in Reno when she met her untimely demise at the hands of James Biela, 28, a serial rapist-turned-murderer with a fetish for thong underwear.

Biela terrorized the female student body at the University of Nevada, Reno during a string of attacks that also shook the Reno community in early 2008.

Biela, a pipefitter and father of a young child, was apprehended for Denison's rape and slaying after a lengthy manhunt. He was recently convicted of Denison's murder and other sex-related crimes and sentenced to death by lethal injection.

The book is being published by Kensington Publishing Corporation's Pinnacle Books imprint, for release in late 2011. The book deal was brokered this week by King's agent, Peter Miller, PMA Literary & Film Management.
