LAS VEGAS (AP) - Former NBA all-star Antoine Walker has been ordered to appear for arraignment on felony charges alleging he failed to repay almost $1 million in gambling debts and penalties to three Las Vegas casinos.

The 33-year-old Walker said nothing as he appeared with his lawyer Monday in Las Vegas Justice Court.

A judge ordered Walker to appear June 30 in state court on bad check charges that could get him probation or up to 12 years in prison.

Walker filed bankruptcy last month, scuttling a promise to repay debts to Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood and the Red Rock Resort, plus penalties to Clark County.

Walker claims $12.7 million in liabilities and $4.3 million in assets - including the 2006 NBA championship ring he won with the Miami Heat.
