A man was found walking with a stab wound in Washoe Valley about 1 p.m. this afternoon and a half hour later Carson City deputies located a possible suspect at a home on Baker Street here.
Washoe County Sheriff's Spokesman Deputy Armando Avina said the victim, whom he did not identify, was walking near Bellevue Bridge when a passerby spotted him. The passerby then called 911, said Avina.
At about 1:30 p.m. Carson City deputies were called out to a home on Baker Drive in which a father was concerned about his 30-year-old son's behavior. When a deputy arrived on scene, the son allegedly admitted he stabbed someone in Washoe Valley, said Carson City Sheriff's Capt. Ken Sandage.
Investigators are en route to the home.
The victim's condition is unknown. He was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center, said Avina.
