'Romeo and Juliet' like never seen before

The classic tale of "Romeo and Juliet" is being retold by TOAD in the revamped streets of Verona.

The age-old enemies, the Capulets and Montagues, have assumed different identities as the embodiments of Winter and Fall as the ill fated, star-crossed lovers strive to end their families ancient feud with the bonds of love.

A modern twist on this tale of woe injects the persona of "Big Brother" lighting the multimedia screens on the set bedecked with icicles and creeping vines.

There is no shortage of action as swords cross, punches fly and a modern musical background punctuates the poetry of one of the finest of William Shakespeare's works.

Come join these talented young adults from Carson City and the Carson Valley as they breathe life into the world's most famous lovers and most famous of tragedies.

It's new, it's edgy, and unlike any version of this tale that you have seen before.
