Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5:11 p.m. at Mills Park on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The 18-year-old allegedly was with a 13-year-old girl and both were under the influence of drugs. Bail was set at $3,615.

• Thomas Allen Wilson, 21, of Carson City, was arrested at 12:22 a.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony parole violation and misdemeanor violation of bail conditions. No bail was set.

• Joshua Ragan, 21, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive on suspicion of felony parole violation, misdemeanor contempt of court and obstructing an investigation. No bail was set.

• A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:22 a.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation and violation of bail conditions. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A Carson City man arrested Monday night on a drunken driving charge identified his occupation as a firefighter/paramedic. While he shares a name with an East Fork firefighter and was believed to be the same person by the administration there, further investigation determined the man arrested does not work for the East Fork department, said Capt. Terry Taylor. The man arrested is also not employed by Carson City or Lyon County fire departments, according to those departments.

• Report of jewelry stolen from the 3400 block of Sunrise Drive at 4:13 p.m.

• Report of a burglary in progress in the 1300 block of Koontz Lane at 1:46 p.m. A caller reported seeing the burglar running from the area. Officers surrounded the home and blocked off a portion of the street for about 45 minutes. No arrest was made.

• Minor accident involving a city-owned vehicle at 5:23 p.m. at Fairview Drive and Saliman Road.
