The Carson City Blockbuster store, 1442 E. William St., will host a free video game tournament from 4-8 p.m. June 29-July 1, with prizes for the top three finalists.
First place winner receives a $49.99 Flip Pass for three months of unlimited game rental; second prize is a $25 gift certificate and third place wins free movie rentals. The finalists from each of Blockbuster's nine regional stores will compete on July 10 at the Northtowne store in Reno, with the winner receiving their choice of a Wii, XBox 360 or PS3.
Blockbuster also is offering $1 kid and family rentals this summer.
