Michael Hohl's new Subaru and Honda dealerships have opened their doors after nearly a year of development.

The dealerships are the last two additions to Carson City's auto row, which also includes Dick Campagni's new Carson Toyota and Scion store.

Four other dealerships line the half-mile-long auto row, including Hohl's GM Superstore, Campagni's Capital Ford, Mazda and Hyundai, Carson Dodge Jeep Chrysler and Carson City Nissan.

Matthew Hohl, the general manager of the Honda and Subaru Carson City locations, said the dealerships will stage a grand opening soon.

"We're comfortable, but we still have stuff to learn," Hohl said of the first week of business for the new dealerships. "We sold some cars, sold some parts and sold some services."

"It's awfully exciting to be in a new facility," Hohl said. "The most exciting thing for me is when a customer says, 'Wow, this is nice.'"
