A Carson City man was injured Thursday when a vehicle he was loading onto a trailer ran over his legs on Crain Street in West Carson City.
Carson City Sheriff's Deputy Bill Richards said the man was on the trailer about 10:45 a.m., securing the chains underneath a Porsche when he apparently leaned on the hydraulic button, pulling the vehicle onto his legs.
When rescuers arrived, the man, whose name was not released, was conscious and talking, but appeared to have at least a broken leg, said Richards.
A Care Flight helicopter landed in the 1200 block of Crain Street near Sharrow Way and the man was taken from the scene to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno.
