Gloria Jean Betrue, 69, died June 18, 2010, in Reno. She was born Dec. 22, 1940, in Plymouth, Mich., to Sam and Lillian Portelli. She was preceded in death by her sisters Giovanna Portelli and Pat Matuzak. Gloria is survived by her husband Jack Sargent; daughters Gloria Kenyon (Don) and Gail Davis (Rori); sisters Mary Lutz, Kathy McDuffee (Bill), Sandy Dombrowski (Warren); four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family in Gozo, Malta. A Celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Walton's Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
