A lockdown at Carson High School prompted by a report of men walking on Robinson Street carrying weapons has been lifted.

Officers located two men in an apartment in the 1500 block of East Robinson Street who said they were the men seen carrying weapons.

According to Undersheriff Steve Albertsen, the men were returning from a shooting range and couldn't park close enough to their apartment complex, so they had to walk a short distance along Saliman. A passerby saw them and called police, prompting the 10-minute lockdown at the school.
