New office for Sierra Family Health Center
Sierra Family Health Center has moved to a new location at 907 N. Mountain St.
Sierra Family Health Center delivers preventive and primary care services to patients regardless of their ability to pay; charges for services are set according to income. Medicare, Medicaid, Nevada Check Up and most other insurances are accepted. Uninsured patients may qualify for a sliding fee scale.

Train ride supports health care
CTRH Auxiliary will host the V&T Wine, Cheese and Dessert Train March 27. The train departs at
10 a.m. from the Carson City Eastgate Depot to Virginia City and returns at 3:15 p.m.
Cost is $65 per person and includes wine, cheese and dessert tasting to and from Virginia City; "The Way it Was" museum tour; lunch; exclusive shopping discounts; shuttles available for transportation. Proceeds support the CTRH Auxiliary. For more information, call 775-883-1532.
Lecture on Diabetes at Carson Tahoe
Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center will host a free lecture at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in support of National Diabetes Alert Day.
The lecture will be in the Bristlecone Room, at the hospital at 1600 Medical Parkway.

Walk of Hope for CDH is March 27
Walk of Hope for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia begins at 8:30 a.m. March 27 at Lampe Park, Gardnerville.
Walk of Hope is a fundraiser to help bring awareness of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). CDH occurs when the diaphragm does not completely close in a newborn and causes the organs to migrate into the chest cavity. For more information and to sign up, call 530-208-6421.
