Obituary: Helen Reymus

Helen Reymus, 90, a lifelong resident of Schurz, died March 12, 2010, at the Renown Medical Center in Reno. She was born Aug. 22, 1919, on the Walker River Indian Reservation to Howard and Julia (Miller) Sides. She is survived by son Edmund D. Reymus of Schurz; daughters Eleanor R. Allen and Angelina R. Menz of Schurz, Florene Reymus of Sutcliffe and Vivian Reymus of Carson City; sister Irene Miller Cline of Schurz. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest; daughters Vera Kochamp; brother Tony Sides and grandson Clinton Reymus. A visitation will be at 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Highway 208, Yerington. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Schurz Tribal Gym. Cremation will follow the service. Inurnment will be at the Schurz Community Cemetery. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.FRFH.net.
