RENO (AP) - Nevada first lady Dawn Gibbons may soon get her own show on the Reno radio dial.
Gibbons has been in talks with station KBZZ-AM 1270 to host a 30-minute political talk show starting next month. She has reached a divorce settlement from Gov. Jim Gibbons that has not been finalized.
Dawn Gibbons says she expects the show to focus on interviews with people in politics.
KBZZ parent company Americom CEO Tom Quinn says Dawn Gibbons is witty, intelligent and a natural fit for radio. He says no topic will be off-limits.
Dawn Gibbons recently moved from the small apartment behind the governor's mansion in Carson City to Las Vegas.
Quinn says arrangements will be made so Gibbons can do the show from her home but that he expects her to do it from Reno sometimes, too.
