Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• James Carl Corbet, 63, of Carson City, was arrested at 3:42 p.m. Friday on G Street on suspicion of two counts of gross misdemeanor open and gross lewdness. Bail was set at $10,000.

• John Charles Key, 32, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Saturday at Carson Street and Fairview Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to maintain lane and failure to have child in safety seat. Bail was set at $3,848.

• Matthew Giganto, 39, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 12:50 p.m. Thursday at Highway 50 East and Empire Ranch Road on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded recently:

• Report of a teen stealing a game console controller from Walmart at 1:40 a.m. Sunday. An arrest was made.

• Two cited for shoplifting at Walmart at 11:58 a.m. Sunday.

• Report of an injured deer in the westbound lanes of Highway 50 East at South Carson Street at 8:36 p.m.

• Accident at Stewart and John streets at 1 p.m. Monday.

• Report on Monday of tenants damaging a rental property on Sherman Lane when they moved out.

• Report of a maroon 1990 Chevy pickup with chrome wheels and a 9-inch lift missing from the 700 block of East Proctor Street at 4:19 p.m. Monday.

• Report of two 19-month old babies suffering from chemical exposure at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 11:10 p.m.

Lyon County

• Report of property stolen from a Fernley gym at 10:20 a.m. Monday.

• Two-vehicle accident in parking lot off Pine Cone Road in Dayton at 5:22 p.m. Monday.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Calico Drive in Stagecoach at 6:05 p.m. Monday.

• Misdemeanor DUI arrest on Six Mile Canyon Road at Ring Road at 12:02 a.m. Sunday.

• Misdemeanor arrest on West Newlands Drive at 12:17 a.m. Sunday.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 208 in Mason Valley at 3:38 a.m. Sunday.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Monte Cristo Drive in Dayton at 8:25 a.m. Sunday.

Storey County
