Dobson's Dilemma: Dobson informed his wife that she needed to sew a button on his pants and so she emptied the pockets of his pants from force of habit ... including some four dollars and fifty cents, which she forgot to return. Dob went down town and seeing some friends from the Comstock called them into a saloon and invited them to drink. There were six men in all and when he settled with the barkeeper was horrified to discover that his pockets were empty. The barkeeper ordered the whole crowd out of the place with profanity. Dobson went to get his mail but was unable to open his box ... on going home he found his wife out making calls and the house was locked. He went back to track down the barkeeper for humiliating him and as a result of the interview was left with a blackened optic and some torn clothes. His wife is once more mending his raiment.
