Five-year-old James Wilkes of Dayton, pets an African spurred tortoise (Geochelone sulcata) at S and W Feed & Supply Friday morning. The store is running a contest to find a name for the 10-year-old male, which owners recently adopted. He weighs 50 pounds and can grow to 150 pounds.
