Paul Barrere & Fred Tacket, formerly with the rock band Little Feat, perform at 7:30 p.m. tonight in the Performance Hall at the Brewery Arts Center.
The distinct sound of the duo evolved while promoting Little Feat.
"We realized that by playing these songs with just two acoustic instruments, it put a whole new spin on the material," Barrere says in a press release, "it made it more bluesy, rootsy, almost folk like - and we really started to get into it."
