Catherine I. Nagel, 80, passed away March 28, 2010 at her home in Carson City surrounded by her family.
Catherine was born to Domenico and Antonietta Baldassare Nov. 9, 1929 in Manhattan, N.Y.
She moved to Carson City in 1974. Catherine worked for the Carson City district attorney's office for eighteen years retiring in 1996. She had also worked as a senior tax preparer for twelve years here in Carson City. Catherine was a Catholic. She enjoyed painting, photography, traveling and gardening.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Nagel who passed away in 1997. They were married in 1950 in Chicago, Ill.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Thomas Nagel of Reno and her daughters, Laura Crawford of Las Vegas and Cynthia Reilly of Carson City. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Catherine will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of final arrangements.
