PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Roy Halladay threw a three-hitter for his second shutout in three starts, Shane Victorino hit a three-run homer and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Mets 10-0 Saturday to end New York's eight-game winning streak.

Halladay (5-1) struck out six, walked one and recorded his 17th career shutout in his first outing since suffering his first loss with the Phillies at San Francisco last Monday. The six-time All-Star right-hander went the distance for the third time this season.

Mets right-hander Mike Pelfrey (4-1) extended his scoreless innings streak to 27 before giving up six runs in the fourth. He ran into some bad luck, however. Two of the first three hits he allowed in the inning almost were caught.

Giants 6, Rockies 1

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Matt Cain gave up one hit over eight innings, Juan Uribe hit a three-run homer and Giants improved to 6-2 on their nine-game homestand.

Aubrey Huff and Bengie Molina also homered for San Francisco, while Cain struck out eight and walked three while earning his first win of the season. Cain (1-1) won for the first time since Sept. 27, 2009, throwing 123 pitches - his most since Aug. 20, 2008.

Esmil Rogers (0-1) took the loss after being called up from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Braves 10, Astros 1

ATLANTA (AP) - Troy Glaus drove in four runs, rookie Jason Heyward homered again and Tim Hudson pitched well into the seventh inning for the Braves.

Hudson (2-1) allowed five hits and one run with two walks and one strikeout in 6 2-3 innings. The right-hander faced the minimum over his last 12 batters before Peter Moylan, the first of three Atlanta relievers, replaced him with two out in the seventh.

Heyward's seventh homer, a solo shot off reliever Sammy Gervacio, gave the Braves a 7-1 lead in the seventh. The Atlanta right-fielder leads all rookies in home runs and RBIs (20).

Wandy Rodriguez (1-3) gave up 10 hits as Houston lost its fifth straight.

Cardinals 6, Reds 3

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Skip Schumaker singled to snap an eighth-inning tie after the Reds twice rallied to even the score in the Cardinals' victory.

Albert Pujols had an RBI double and added one of two bases-loaded walks in a three-run eighth for the Cardinals. Pujols is 9 of 17 with three doubles and four RBIs the first six games of a seven-game homestand, including his first day off of the season Thursday.

David Freese added his second homer of the season and second in three days, and Ryan Franklin (1-0) got the last four outs to pick up the win.

Carlos Fisher (0-1) took the loss in relief.

Cubs 7, Diamondbacks 5

CHICAGO (AP) - Alfonso Soriano homered, Derrek Lee delivered the go-ahead two-run single and the Cubs rallied from three down again to beat Arizona.

Soriano's two-run shot off former Cubs pitcher Bob Howry in the seventh tied it at 5, and Lee made it 7-5 with a two-run bases-loaded single in the eighth off Juan Gutierrez (0-3).

That made a winner of Sean Marshall (1-1), who pitched two scoreless innings. Carlos Marmol walked Cole Gillespie leading off the ninth, allowed a one-out single by Justin Upton and walked Mark Reynolds - who hit two solo homers - to load the bases.

Adam LaRoche then struck out, giving Marmol his fourth save in five chances.

Marlins 7, Nationals 1

MIAMI (AP) - Chris Volstad pitched a four-hitter for the second complete game of his career and Florida broke a three-game losing streak by beating Washington.

Hanley Ramirez had three hits, including an RBI double and a two-run homer. Jorge Cantu added a two-run homer.

Volstad (2-2) struck out eight, walked one and threw 114 pitches. His only other complete game was a five-hitter last July 8 at San Francisco.

Volstad also had two singles and scored a run before a crowd of 34,886, the Marlins' largest since their home opener.

Craig Stammen (1-1) allowed four runs, three earned, in four-plus innings. The defeat ended a three-game winning streak for the Nationals.
