LOGAN, Utah (AP) - Utah State has kicked freshman center Anthony DiLoreto off the team.

DiLoreto was suspended in February for an undisclosed violation of team rules.

Coach Stew Morrill said in a release Thursday that he was hopeful DiLoreto could work his way back on the team, but the player didn't do what he needed to do to get out of Morrill's doghouse.

DiLoreto, a 7-foot-1, 230-pound center from Minnetonka, Minn., redshirted last season and never played a game for the Aggies.

He arrived at Utah State shortly after pleading no contest to a felony charge of robbery as a party to a crime stemming from a bank robbery in Wisconsin.
