The former director of marketing for the Reno Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority has been named the vice president of business development of Noble Studios, the Carson City-based company announced Friday.
Michael Thomas will join the website and technology development company to oversee sales and new business development for the company.
"Michael is an experienced entrepreneur who shares similar business values, love for technology and community support," said Jarrod Lopiccolo, president of Noble Studios. "We are looking forward to working with him as a strategic team player in continuing to add value to our services and company growth both nationally and internationally."
Thomas has worked for the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, Twelve Horses and TechAlliance. He also worked as an anchor for KTVN.
He has a bachelor's degree in communications from Saint Mary's College in Moraga, Calif.
