Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Nicholas Erin Morrow, 24, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:40 p.m. on suspicion of obtaining money under false pretenses and fraudulent use of a credit card. Morrow allegedly used credit cards, stolen with a purse from Walmart, to purchase $2,000 worth of goods from various Carson City businesses. Bail was set at $50,000.
• A 30-year-old retail employee from Carson City was arrested at 4:25 a.m. at Highway 50 East and Lompa Lane on suspicion of drunken driving and speeding. Bail was set at $1,354.
• A 20-year-old retail clerk from Carson City was arrested at 1:24 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing an investigation and minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $559.
• A 22-year-old federal firefighter from Carson City was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday at Roop and Robinson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor driving without a valid license, drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia and no headlights. Bail was set at $2,118.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• Report at 9:50 a.m. of two televisions stolen from motor homes in the 4500 block of North Carson Street.
• Report at 9:53 a.m. of parts taken off a tow trailer in the 2000 block of Highway 50 East.
• Report of a customer calling a North Carson Street pharmacy and making threats at 11:23 a.m. after a dispute the previous day at the store.
• Report of two men yelling at each other in the 2100 block of Mayflower Avenue at 11:44 a.m.
• Bicycle theft report in the 300 block of Springview Drive at 3:24 p.m.
• Coroner call in the 200 block of Jeanell Drive at 3:37 p.m.
• Deputies responded to 10 reports of windows shot out of vehicles in east Carson City. Reports came in from Table Rock Drive, Bristol Place, Carriage Crest Drive, Marian Avenue, Slide Mountain Drive, East Long Street, Fall Street and four reports on Rolling Hills Drive.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 6 a.m.
• Four vehicle burglary reports on La Costa Drive and two on Royal Troon Drive in Dayton Valley.
• Report of a garage on Hillcrest Drive burglarized.
• Felony arrest on Highway 208 in Mason Valley at 4:24 p.m.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Sunrise Lane in Fernley at 8:46 p.m.
