Each year this parade reminds me of how much our veterans and the young men and women now in uniform have given to our country. Children stand with flags in hand. Mothers, fathers and family of military personnel with brave smiles upon their faces wishing their sons, daughters and family overseas could be standing with them. This event makes me proud to be here and so appreciative of my freedom. I am thankful, grateful and humble by all of our armed forces past and present so I'll be headed up to V.C. to acknowledge there amazing service in the annual Celebration of Heroes Parade.
