Thanks for help with CMS Tech. Night

April 29, Carson Middle School hosted its annual Technology Night. Thank you to the community members that participated: Carson City Fly Fishing Club, NDOT, Resource Concepts, Michael Christian - Sky Diver, Strictly Scuba, Lumos Associates, Steve Von Rumpf - Detective, Jeff Redmond - WCSD Police, Clickbond, Chromalloy, UNR College of Engineering, Western Nevada Supply, GE Bently, CMS HSPP Recycle Club and the CMS and High School Students that volunteered.

Special thank you for a special night

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Carson High School's First Annual Special Education Friendship Ball was a huge success. Our students were able to experience an enchanted evening full of music, dancing, great food and fun.

We would like to extend our thanks to all the teachers, assistants and peer tutors who came to help and spend time with our wonderful students. We would also like to thank the following companies for their donations of food, drink and raffle prizes: Carson Lanes, El Charro Avitia, Gold Dust West-Bowling Center, Little Caesars, Subway, McDonalds, Starbucks, The Flower Bucket, Walmart, JCPenney, Save Mart Supermarket

A special thanks to the following high school clubs:

Leadership spent many hours decorating to transform Senator Square into a magical ballroom. Many leadership students stayed and danced the night away with our students. Thank you so much for making this a special night.

Culinary Arts did an outstanding job catering our dance. The food was delicious and the presentation was top notch. Mrs. Reynolds and her crew were amazing and we cannot thank them enough for all of their help.

Link Crew provided the music and did a tremendous job. They kept the students dancing all night. Thank you so much for your help.

We would also like to thank Mr. Houlihan (vice principal) for all his help and support. We had no idea how much work was involved in putting on a dance. (Next year will be much smoother, we promise.)

We hope to continue having our Friendship Ball each year. We could not have had such a wonderful experience without such tremendous help from our school and community. We are blessed to have so much support.
