Q: What is your favorite sport, and how did you get started playing it?

A: My favorite sport is most definitely volleyball. I started playing in the 7th grade because all of my friends played club and they convinced me to try out, and I just fell in love with the sport.

Q: Do you have any superstitions that you go through before games?

A: I paint the pointer finger on my left hand before every game.

Q: Who is your favorite teammate and why?

A: For me to try and decide between the 12 other amazing girls on my team is impossible. I love each and every one of them for something different. I consider them family and deciding which one is my favorite is just way too hard.

Q: What is your biggest sports moment?

A: My biggest sports moment would have to be my freshman year when we played Truckee and their freshman team was unbeaten. Our season wasn't going well. They won the first game and we won the second. It was neck and neck the whole third game. I was playing front row and we were ahead 26-25. I got the set and I was so stoked to hit I got up and slammed it down. We beat an undefeated Truckee team.

Q: Do you have a role model, and why is he/she a role model?

A: I have two role models, my mom and my dad. They have always been there for me and they are the reason I am where I am today. They give up so much of their time to do things for me, especially with sports and what not. I love them.

Q: Do you have any hobbies, and if so what are they?

A: One of my hobbies is playing the violin.

Q: What is your favorite food/dinner?

A: My favorite food is ice cream.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: I see myself graduating college because I will be 27. I also see myself starting the life I'm going to be living, i.e. job and family.
