NBA: It's a Love fest in Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Kevin Love grabbed a franchise-record 31 rebounds and scored 31 points, the NBA's first 30-30 game in 28 years, and the Minnesota Timberwolves rallied from a 21-point, third-quarter deficit to stun the New York Knicks 112-103 on Friday night.

Love grabbed 15 boards in the third quarter alone to will the Timberwolves to victory. Moses Malone was the last player to do it with 38 points and 32 rebounds for Houston against Seattle in 1982.

Michael Beasley had 35 points and six rebounds for the Wolves, who won their second game in a row in thrilling fashion.

Danilo Gallinari scored 25 points, but only seven in the second half for the Knicks, who lost their fourth consecutive game and had no answer for Love's dominance in the second half.

Jazz 90, Hawks 86

ATLANTA (AP) - Paul Millsap hit a corner jumper with 1:20 to play and Utah came back from a double-digit, second-half deficit for the fourth consecutive game to beat Atlanta.

The Hawks have lost four straight, including three at home, after winning their first six.

Atlanta led 74-63 with 36 seconds gone in the fourth period before the Jazz put together a 15-4 run to tie it at 78 with 6:43 left on a 3-point basket by Andrei Kirilenko.

Deron Williams led the Jazz with 24 points and 10 assists. Joe Johnson had 23 points for Atlanta and Josh Smith added 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Thunder 110, Trail Blazers 108

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Russell Westbrook scored 36 points, Kevin Durant had eight of his 34 during Oklahoma City's decisive run in the final 5 minutes, and the Thunder beat Portland for the second time in just over a week.

Durant scored the final eight points in a 10-0 run that turned the Thunder's five-point deficit into a 105-100 lead with 1:29 to play. He hit a floater in the lane, followed by a series of three straight jumpers - then ran into flying chest bumps with his teammates when Portland called timeout.

Brandon Roy scored 24 points and got the Blazers within one point three times in the final minute, but Rudy Fernandez missed a 3-pointer from the corner with 2.9 seconds left that would've put Portland ahead. Raptors 110, Magic 106

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Sonny Weems made a 3-pointer with 7.1 seconds left and Toronto hit four free throws from there to snap a six-game losing streak by beating Orlando.

Andrea Bargnani led the Raptors with 27 points, but it was Weems and DeMar DeRozan who made the key plays that ended Toronto's skid. DeRozan finished with 26 points, 11 in the fourth quarter.

Dwight Howard had 25 points and eight rebounds. Mickael Pietrus added 24 points on eight 3-pointers, but turned the ball over with the Magic trying to tie the game in the final 7.1 seconds. Jameer Nelson had 23 points and eight assists for Orlando.

Bobcats 93, Wizards 85

WASHINGTON (AP) - Gerald Wallace had 25 points and 14 rebounds and managed to show nearly as much flash as No. 1 overall pick John Wall, leading Charlotte over Washington.

Boris Diaw added 19 points for the Bobcats, and D.J. Augustin had 17 points and 10 assists.

Wall had 13 points, 11 assists and four steals - a bit short of the triple-double show he put on two nights earlier - and had trouble finding his shot. He went 6 for 16 from the field. Still, he has a double-double in four of his first seven NBA games, including the triple-double Wednesday night against Houston.

Andray Blatche scored 22 points for the Wizards, and Kirk Hinrich had 14. Gilbert Arenas, who continues to come off the bench, went 2 for 14 from the field and scored five points with six rebounds.

Suns 103, Kings 89

PHOENIX (AP) - Steve Nash had 28 points, 14 assists and even seven rebounds on the day of the birth of his son, and the Suns beat Sacramento in Phoenix for the 10th straight time.

The 36-year-old two-time league MVP, whose wife Alejandra gave birth to Matteo Joel Nash early Friday, made 11 of his first 12 shots and finished 13 for 18 to lead Phoenix to its third win in four games and send the Kings to their fourth loss in a row.

Hakim Warrick added 18 points for the Suns, most of them on feeds from Nash.

Tyreke Evans had 18 points, nine assists and seven rebounds for the Kings. Carl Landry had 20 points and 11 boards. Beno Udrih added 17 points.

Rockets 102, Pacers 99

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Brad Miller had 23 points and eight rebounds, while Luis Scola added 16 points in Houston's first game since losing Yao Ming for a least a week with a sprained ankle.

Kevin Martin had two key baskets down the stretch and scored 20 points. Kyle Lowry added 13 for the Rockets, who shot 50 percent from the field and improved to 2-6.

James Posey led Indiana with 19 points, with Roy Hibbert scoring 18 and Danny Granger 17. Mike Dunleavy had 15 points and Darren Collison had 13 for Indiana.

Mavericks 99, 76ers 90

DALLAS (AP) - Reserve J.J. Barea scored a season-high 19 points, Dirk Nowitzki added 16 despite a sprained ankle, and Dallas beat Philadelphia for its third straight victory.

Shawn Marion had 16 points and Jason Terry 13 to help the Mavericks to their fifth victory in six games.

Nowitzki rolled his right ankle in the second quarter of Wednesday night's win at Memphis, sitting out the final 3 1/2 minutes of the first half. He participated in Friday morning's shootaround, and felt good enough to be in the starting lineup.

Thaddeus Young scored 17 points and Spencer Hawes had a season-high 14 for the Sixers. Andres Nocioni also scored 14 for Philadelphia.

Pistons 113, Clippers 107, OT

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Reserve Charlie Villanueva scored 30 points and Detroit used a 9-0 run in overtime to beat Los Angeles.

Austin Daye and Richard Hamilton added 12 points apiece for Detroit (3-6), which picked up its first road win in five tries this season.

The Pistons hit 11 of 18 from 3-point range, lead by Villanueva's five.

Eric Gordon scored 28 points and Blake Griffin had 18 points and a career-best 18 rebounds for undermanned Los Angeles, which dropped to 1-9 for the second time in three seasons.
