Obituary: Karen Barbara Mead

Karen Barbara Mead, 67, of Carson City, died Nov. 20, 2010. She was born Feb. 3, 1943, to Stanley and Mildred Tollick in Oregon City, Ore. As a homemaker, her greatest joy in life was caring for her family. Karen is survived by her husband, Russell; son and daughter-in-law Dean R. and Lori V. Mead; brother Stanley Tollick of Baldwin, Fla.; sister Gloria Bradley of Pelzer, S.C.; grandchildren Ashley, Cecelia, Holly, Edward, and Mathew; and great-grandchildren Gianni and Darryn. A graveside service will be at the Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley. Arrangements entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.
