Obituary: Stephen Earl Lawson

Stephen Earl Lawson was born on Sept. 2, 1954, in Oakland, Calif., to Edwin and Marjorie Lawson. He passed away at his home in Carson City on Nov. 28, 2010. Steve grew up and attended schools in Hayward, Calif. Steve worked for 20 years for several builders as a laborer. He was a veteran, and a friend to everyone and very generous to anyone in need. He loved having surprises for children, such as candy, games and balloons. He enjoyed many fishing trips with his brothers. He will be missed by many. Steve is survived by his mother Margie Casey of Carson City; brothers Edwin Lawson of Hayward and Michael Lawson of Carson City; sister Laura Bentley of Washington, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Edwin Lawson. At his request no services will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Autumn Funerals & Cremations.
