Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Spencer Nicholas Stearns, 19, of Minden, was arrested at 10:11 p.m. Tuesday at Highway 50 East and Humboldt Lane on a felony warrant for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and an inoperable headlight. Bail was set at $5,000.

• Steven John White, 23, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. in the 300 block of Burton Street on warrants for felony burglary and misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $25,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Fraud report in the 1300 block of Como Street at 12:05 a.m.

• A window on a vehicle was broken and a stereo stolen in the 3600 block of Woodside Drive.

• Residential burglary report in the 500 block of South Roop Street at 9:44 a.m.

• Report of a broken window and an open door at the First Baptist Church on Mountain Street at 11:59 a.m.

• A property manager reported finding pot plants in a home left vacant by the previous tenants.

• A vehicle was driving in the river when it got too deep and the vehicle became stuck at 5:12 p.m. near Morgan Mill Road.

• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Orsmby Boulevard at 7:30 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of graffiti on Riverview Elementary in Mark Twain at 6:37 a.m.

• Coroner call on Park Street in Silver Springs at 3:10 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Badger Street in Silver Springs at 5:03 p.m.
