The Carson City Board of Supervisors will consider spending $106,255 from city redevelopment funds for the Arlington Square Ice Rink's 2010-11 season at its meeting Thursday.
The initial request discussed two weeks ago sought $192,730 from the general fund. The ice rink under the current proposal will run from Nov. 24 to Jan. 22.
The supervisors also will consider the 2010-2015 collective bargaining agreement for Carson City Sheriff Office's lieutenants and captains on Thursday.
Because of city budget constraints amid a down economy, the city had approached the lieutenants and captains about freezing the 3 percent pay increase they were scheduled to receive on July 1. Under the agreement, salaries are frozen until 2014.
The Carson City Board of Supervisors meets at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the Sierra Room of the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St. Go to www.car
