Q: What is your favorite sport and how did you get started playing it?
A: Volleyball. I got into it because of my cousin. I watched her for years and wanted to play. I love volleyball.
Q: Do you have any superstitions that you go through before games?
A: I make sure my hair is just right and I give the team a talk about how we have to work hard and have heart. I get ready for the game by getting focused. I want to play well so I make sure I'm warmed up and ready.
Q: Who is your favorite teammate and why?
A: I don't have a favorite teammate this year. All of the girls are great and they are all my favorites. We get along so well and play as a team. We have each other's back and will do anything for each other. We are like one big family.
Q: What is your biggest sports moment?
A: My biggest sports moment was my freshman year. It was my first varsity game. I was so scared and didn't know what I was getting myself into. I wasn't sure if I was ready for it, but I had my team to back me up and support me. After getting the ball hit hard at me a few times, I got over it and did the best I could. My coach and the team were proud of me.
Q: Do you have a role model, and why is he/she your role model?
A: I have two role models - my parents. They help me with everything and are my No. 1 fans. I have always looked up to them because they are so loving and caring. They always knew the right thing to do. I love them so much.
Q: Do you have any hobbies, and what are they?
A: My hobbies are hiking and anything outdoors. I love being outside in the fresh air. I do a lot of camping, kayaking, fishing and going to the lake when I have the time. I also love spending time with my friends and family. They are a big part of my life.
Q: What is your favorite food/dinner?
A: Chicken and french fries. I also like any kind of ice cream.
Q: Who is your favorite musician?
A: My favorite group is the Zac Brown Band
Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: I see myself out of college, being a teacher and being married with kids.
Q: What is the last non-school book you've read?
A: The last book I read was about Yellowstone Park. We took a trip there and I loved it and wanted to know more about it.
