Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proven guilty in court:

• A 35-year-old transient was arrested at 3:33 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of open container in public and being a drunken pedestrian. Bail was set at $134.

• A 48-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 6:41 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and obstructing an officer. Bail was set at $3,539.

• Mark E. Davis, 24, of Carson City, was arrested at 4 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Cambridge Court on suspicion of felony fraudulent use of a credit card. He allegedly stole his stepfather's card and used it to purchase items he later traded for drugs. Bail was set at $7,500.

• Laurie Ann Hancock, 43, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:36 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of East Long Street on suspicion of felony contempt of court, possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor violation of bail conditions. Hancock was being sought by Carson City investigators, and had apparently dyed her hair black to disguise herself, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $10,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Report of a hit-and-run accident in the 300 block of East William Street at 1:05 a.m. A 46-year-old flooring installer from Carson City was arrested at 1:45 a.m. at Highway 50 East and Airport Road in connection with hit-and-run. Also jailed on drunken driving, driving without a license and driving without insurance.

• Residential burglary report on Mallard Drive at 9:15 a.m. The homeowner said the burglary happened overnight while she was home. Missing was a vehicle, computer and other items.

• Report of a mother and daughter fighting on East Long Street at 4:57 p.m.

• Two dogs were struck by a car and killed on Highway 50 East near Lompa Lane at 11:57 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 50 East at Newman Lane in Mound House at 2:46 a.m.

• Residential burglary report on Fox Street in Silver Springs at 9:09 a.m.

• Residential burglary report on Highway 339 in Mason Valley at 2:42 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• A caller on Sutro Springs Road reported corralling six wandering mules at 7:17 a.m. She said she would hold them until the owner was found.
