Western singer Brenn Hill returns to Carson Valley

The Carson Valley Arts Council's 2010-11 concert series continues 7 p.m. Friday with country singer and songwriter Brenn Hill in concert at the CVIC Hall, 1602 Esmeralda Ave., Minden.

A wine reception hosted by Tahoe Ridge Winery, Marketplace and Bistro is at 6 p.m.

Hill will also give a free Kids Music Concert, 1-2 p.m., Friday at Copeland Cultural Arts Center, 1572 Highway 395, Minden. He will teach the children the power behind musical expression and poetry, as well as performing for them. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Admission to the concert is $20, or $17 for Carson Valley Arts Council members. Children, $10. Tickets may be purchased at cvartscouncil.com or 782-8207. Find out more about Hill at www.brennhill.com.
