LAS VEGAS (AP) - Arizona Sen. John McCain is coming to Nevada to stump for Republican Senate candidate Sharron Angle.
McCain spokesman Brian Rogers confirmed the 2008 GOP presidential nominee will attended a rally for the tea party favorite at a Las Vegas casino on Friday.
The former legislator from Reno is in a dead heat with Majority Leader Harry Reid.
Angle has long prided herself on being a conservative outsider in her own party. McCain's appearance could help Angle make inroads with GOP moderates who could be uneasy with her conservatives views.
