LAS VEGAS (AP) - A new poll shows Nevada's U.S. Senate race between Republican Sharron Angle and Democratic incumbent Harry Reid too close to call, four days before election day.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal and KLAS-TV 8NewsNow reported Friday that Angle, the tea party favorite, has a 49 percent to 45 percent edge over Reid, the Senate majority leader.
The four-point difference remains within the 4 percent sampling error margin, and makes the race too close to call.
The telephone survey of 625 Nevada voters was conducted this week by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research of Washington, D.C.
Three percent say they're still undecided, 1 percent say they support someone else and 2 percent say they want none of the above.
The poll came out the same day Angle appeared at a rally featuring John McCain. Earlier in the day Angle sidestepped questions Friday from TV reporters who tracked her to the airport.
"I will answer those questions when I am the senator," the tea party favorite said.
