OTTAWA (AP) - Tim Thomas made 29 saves for his second straight shutout and third of the season in the Boston Bruins' 4-0 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night.
Thomas (6-0) has 20 career NHL shutouts, five against the Senators.
David Krejci, Tyler Seguin, Milan Lucic and Jordan Caron scored to help the Bruins raise their record to 6-2. Brian Elliott made 21 saves for Ottawa.
On Thursday night in Boston, Thomas beat Toronto 2-0.
Rangers 2, Maple Leafs 0
TORONTO (AP) - Henrik Lundqvist stopped 36 shots for his 25th career NHL shutout and the New York Rangers beat Toronto.
The Maple Leafs were shut out for the second consecutive game and haven't scored in 122 minutes, 24 seconds. Toronto (5-4-1) has recorded only seven goals in six games, going 1-4-1 in that span - including two losses to the Rangers.
Brian Boyle and Ryan Callahan scored for New York (5-4-1), which snapped a two-game skid. Callahan scored on a penalty shot, providing more insurance in Lundqvist's first shutout of the season.
Flyers 6, Islanders 1
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Jeff Carter and Chris Pronger both scored two goals, to back a strong goaltending performance by Sergei Bobrovsky, and Philadelphia topped the New York Islanders.
Kimmo Timonen and Andreas Nodl also scored for the Flyers, who have won three straight since a lackluster 2-1 loss to Columbus on Oct. 25. The slumping Islanders dropped their fourth in a row after a three-game winning streak.
Philadelphia has dominated the Islanders during the past three seasons, and continued that trend in their first meeting of this season. Philadelphia has won 15 of 16 from New York, including 11 straight at home. The Islanders haven't won in Philadelphia since April 7, 2007.
Bobrovsky (5-2), playing in his seventh game, stopped 30 shots. The only goal he allowed was on a penalty shot by Frans Nielsen.
Penguins 3, Hurricanes 0
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Brent Johnson made 33 saves, and Pascal Dupuis scored two goals to lead Pittsburgh over Carolina.
Maxime Talbot also scored for the Penguins, who snapped a three-game losing streak. Sidney Crosby had two assists. Pittsburgh played without star forward Evgeni Malkin, who missed the game after because of an apparent lower body injury sustained Friday in the third period of a loss to Philadelphia.
The 34-year-old Johnson (5-0-1) earned his 14th NHL shutout. He entered the game ranked second in the league in goals-against average and save percentage.
Cam Ward made 28 saves for the Hurricanes, who have lost both home games this season 3-0.
Red Wings 5, Predators 2
DETROIT (AP) - Pavel Datsyuk had two goals and an assist to lift Detroit past Nashville.
Brad Stuart, Tomas Holmstrom and Patrick Eaves also scored for Detroit. Ruslan Salei and Nicklas Lidstrom each had two assists, and Chris Osgood made 23 saves.
Joel Ward, Kevin Klein had goals for Nashville, which has dropped two straight in regulation after earning at least one point in each of the first eight games this season. Pekka Rinne stopped 23 shots.
Panthers 3, Canadiens 1
MONTREAL (AP) - David Booth scored on a penalty shot and Tomas Vokoun made 40 saves, leading Florida over Montreal.
Booth netted his fourth goal to put Florida up 2-1. He beat Carey Price midway through the second after he was hauled down by defenseman Jaroslav Spacek on a breakaway.
Michael Frolik and Shawn Matthias also scored for the Panthers, who had lost the first two games of their three-game trip to Canada.
Price stopped 28 shots for the Canadiens, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.
Mathieu Darche pulled Montreal even at 1 early in the second. Canadiens defenseman Andrei Markov made his season debut after missing the first 10 games while recovering from knee surgery.
Blackhawks 3, Wild 1
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Marty Turco bounced back from a benching with 25 saves, and Chicago beat Minnesota.
Troy Brouwer had a goal and an assist, Duncan Keith scored early in the third period and Jake Dowell added an empty-netter for the Blackhawks, who enjoyed plenty of support despite being on the road.
Missing one of their top scorers in Marian Hossa while he recovers from an upper body injury, the Blackhawks were coming off a woeful home performance - a 7-4 loss on Friday to Edmonton from which Turco was pulled after allowing four goals on 12 shots in the first period.
Marek Zidlicky's third-period goal wasn't enough for the Wild, who got 29 saves from Niklas Backstrom.

DALLAS (AP) - Andrew Raycroft made 34 saves for his eighth career shutout in his first start of the season, James Neal and Brenden Morrow scored power-play goals, and Dallas snapped a three-game losing streak with a victory against Buffalo.
The announced attendance was 15,015, but the arena was about half full with the Texas Rangers playing their first World Series home game.
Steve Ott notched a short-handed goal and Trevor Daley scored at even strength, both in the third period.
Brad Richards had two assists for the Stars, who had lost the first three of a season-high six-game homestand.
Patrick Lalime stopped 37 shots for Buffalo in his second start of the season. Ryan Miller has started the other 10.
Blues 4, Thrashers 3, SO
ST. LOUIS (AP) - Jay McClement recorded his first career hat trick and T.J. Oshie and Brad Boyes scored in the shootout to lead St. Louis over Atlanta.
Jaroslav Halak stopped both shots in the shootout to help the Blues to their fourth straight victory.
St. Louis, 5-0 at home, rallied from a late 3-1 deficit with two goals by McClement in a span of 1:46 in the third period. He tied the game with 4:25 left.
Atlanta's Ondrej Pavelec stopped 24 of the first 25 shots he faced in his return after fainting and sustaining a concussion early in the Thrashers' season-opening win over Washington on Oct. 8.
Avalanche 5, Blue Jackets 1
DENVER (AP) - Peter Budaj made 33 saves, Paul Stastny and Chris Stewart had a goal and an assist each for Colorado against Columbus.
David Liffiton, Cody McLeod and David Jones also scored, and Milan Hejduk and David Winnik had two assists each for the Avalanche.
Rick Nash scored a power-play goal for Columbus, which lost for the first time in four road games this season.
Lightning 3, Coyotes 0
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Dan Ellis stopped 23 shots and recorded his 11th career shutout as Tampa Bay beat Phoenix.
Ellis, signed as a free agent after three seasons with Nashville, got his first shutout with the Lightning. His previous blanking came on Jan. 15 at Calgary.
The Lightning's first goal was from newly acquired Mattias Ritola. Steven Stamkos netted his ninth goal of the season, and Adam Hall also scored.
