Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 39-year-old maintenance man from Carson City was arrested at 9:57 a.m. Thursday on a Washoe County warrant for contempt of court. Bail was set at $325.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Two students were arrested at Carson High for fighting at 10:44 a.m.

• Report of a burglar gaining entry through a balcony and stealing movies from the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive.

• Report of a homeowner scaring off a burglar in the 900 block of Siskiyou Drive at 2:02 p.m.

• Residential burglary report in the 3700 block of Laynya Lane at 8:59 p.m.

• Report at 11:41 p.m. of a man threatening on his Facebook page to commit a "terrorist attack" on the DMV. Police contacted the man who said he was not serious. A report was taken and the man deleted the post.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Armed robbery at the Best Western Hotel in Fernley at 12:20 a.m. Three people were arrested.

• Coroner call in the 7100 block of Beech Street in Silver Springs at 6:12 a.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A cat was found on South C Street at 9:41 a.m. with its foot stuck in a trap.

• A trucker reported at 5:58 p.m. his tire was on fire on Interstate 80 and his fire extinguisher was running out.

• Arrest made at 9:58 p.m. on State Route 655.
