Glitch stalls NV jobless benefits

(AP) - Nevada employment security officials say a computer glitch has stalled benefit payments to recipient debit card accounts.

Administrators Cynthia Jones says payments failed to post to accounts last night.

She says the agency is working with the bank and debit card vendors to fix the problem.

It's unknown how many claimants are affected.

Jones asks recipients not to phone unemployment claims centers, but to check for updates at the agency's website.
