Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 26-year-old woman from Santa Barbara, Calif., was arrested at 4:41 a.m. Sunday at John and Anderson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to obey traffic signal, failure to use a turn signal and contempt of court. Bail was set at $4,256.
• Jon Renee Barnett, 57, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 10:52 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.
• Gregory Michael Jessee, 33, a transient, was arrested at 6:26 p.m. Monday on suspicion of felony failure to appear after admission to bail. No bail set.
• Anthony Lorenzo Strohm, 19, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 7 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of felony vehicle burglary. Surveillance cameras allegedly captured Strohm stealing a GPS from a vehicle parked at Walmart on Saturday. Two days later, he was located and arrested.
• John Emmanuel Lara, 25, of Carson City, already in custody on a domestic battery charge, was additionally booked on eight counts of felony violation of a temporary protective order and one count of witness tampering. In violation of a protection order, Lara allegedly used the jail phones to call his girlfriend, asking her to not show up in court.
• A 39-year-old printer from Carson City was arrested at 9:59 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and speeding. Bail was set at $1,214.
• An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 4:58 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor alternative sentencing violation, minor consuming alcohol and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail was set at $3,869.
• A 54-year-old retired woman from Carson City was arrested at 7:52 p.m. Sunday at Fifth Street and Warm Spring Road on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.
• Robert Atkins, 27, of Carson City, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Sunday at Clearview Drive and Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without insurance. Bail was set at $2,500.
Deputies responded to the following calls:
Monday
• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 12:30 a.m.
• Vehicle burglary report in the 400 block of Saliman Road at 4:38 a.m. Several juveniles detained.
• Commercial burglary report in the 700 block of South Carson Street at
8:52 a.m.
• A garage on Carmine Street was burglarized sometime before 10:38 a.m.
• Coroner call on Clear Creek Road at 11:30 a.m.
• Three juveniles were detained at Walmart for stealing Pokemon cards at 5:03 p.m.
Sunday
• Report at 12:41 a.m. of several juveniles trying to steal a stop sign on Damon Road.
• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 4:15 a.m.
• A woman reported at 12:13 p.m. that she was housesitting for her sister and when she arrived at her sister's house there were two children inside playing with her sister's dogs.
• Coroner call on Wialaki Street at 5:38 p.m.
• A vehicle hit a retaining wall on East Fifth Street at 7:18 p.m. The occupants were uninjured by the accident, but the man had a fat lip prompting deputies to arrest his wife.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:
• Residential burglary report in the 400 block of Traci Lane in Mound House at 2:44 a.m. Monday.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Columbine Court in Fernley at 5:54 a.m. Sunday.
• Misdemeanor shoplifting arrest at Walmart in Fernley at 1:37 p.m. Sunday.
• Residential burglary report on E Street in Fernley at 3:57 p.m. Sunday.
• A tree fire on Dayton Hill was extinguished at 7:50 p.m. Sunday.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:
• A camera case and memory card were found and turned in to the Sheriff's Office at 10:22 a.m. Friday.
• Two-vehicle accident on State Route 341 at 12:59 p.m. Saturday. All occupants were uninjured.
• Two-vehicle accident at Sutton and C streets at 10:53 a.m. Saturday.
• Report of a 20-year-old with a possible broken collarbone after a motorcycle accident at race track in front of the Mustang Ranch at 11:08 a.m. Sunday.
• A purse was found at St. Mary in the Mountains Catholic Church at 3:22 p.m. Monday.
